You Don’t Need a Plan. You Just Need an Idea.

“I know I want something in there, I just don’t know what.”

This is a common saying a Top Shelf designer hears – and it’s a perfectly good place to start. You don’t need measurements, a Pinterest board, or a finished vision before you reach out. You just need the idea, even if it’s half-formed. That’s what a free consultation is actually for.

The idea doesn’t have to be specific…

Maybe it’s as simple as “I’m tired of digging through a pile every morning.” Maybe it’s “I saw a closet island somewhere and I can’t stop thinking about it, but I have no idea if my space could even fit one.” Maybe you don’t have an idea at all, just a space that isn’t working and a feeling that it could be so much better. All of that is a starting point. Bringing the vague version is not a problem; it’s the whole point of sitting down with someone who does this for a living.

Brainstorming is part of the process…

A free consultation with a Top Shelf designer isn’t a sales pitch waiting to happen once you’ve already decided what you want. It is a real working session. We walk through your space, ask about how you actually live day to day, and talk through options together. Sometimes that turns a loose idea into a clear plan on the spot. Sometimes it takes a little back-and-forth. Either way, you leave with a direction, not just a vague notion you were carrying around before.

Have an idea rattling around but no plan for it yet? That’s exactly what our design team is here for. Book a free consultation and let’s brainstorm it together!
